Notifications dismissal to be made Configurable. Defaulting to 5 days

It would be great to have the Notification bell show items older than 5 days which have not been dismissed.
We would like to extend this out to x number of days.

We're all about flexibility and this idea fits the profile! While the team are looking at notifications, are there any other enhancements to that feature you'd like to see?
