Creating Subtabs

**Note: This content is intended for system administrators and is technical in nature**

Practifi's subtab functionality gives you the ability to add an additional subtab on any page, allowing you to capture custom information in an additional page.

To create a subtab:

1. Navigate to Settings in Practifi from the user icon drop down menu on the right-hand side. 
2. Select Menu Items from the left-hand side Navigation. 
3. Filter to the context in which the page appears in, for this example it would be ‘Division’, and the stage to ‘Active’. 
4. Look for the teammember page and edit it by selecting the pencil icon beside it. 
5. On the right-hand side, look for the header ‘Sidebar Fields’ and here you can specify pages or specify subtabs. When you select subtabs additional fields will appear below. 
6. To add a subtab make sure you reference the original page. To do this select the ‘+’ and fill in all the fields as follows:

Original Page

Applies to: Organisation 
Code: TEAMMEMBR 
Label: Team Members
Subtab: Cannot be the same as one already used, needs to be unique/custom
Order: 1.0 (if you wish for this page to be viewed first)
Page: division_teammember_list
Active: Checked 
Default: Unchecked 

7. Now that the original page has been referenced you can now add additional subtabs. To add additional subtabs select the ‘+’ and fill in all the fields as required. 

Additional Page

Applies to: Organisation 
Code: ADDITNINFO
Label: Additional Info
Subtab: Cannot be the same as one already used, needs to be unique/custom
Order: 2.0 
Page: Skuid Page you wish to surface on the new subtab. 
Active: Checked 
Default: Unchecked 

8. Save and refresh your browser to view your changes.
