Installing and Enabling the Dropbox Integration

**Note: This content is intended for system administrators and is technical in nature**

The Dropbox integration allows you to synchronise and access your Dropbox documents within a client record in Practifi. You must have a Dropbox subscription to use this integration.

You will need Practifi System Administrator permissions to install and enable the Dropbox integration:

Follow the Dropbox for Salesforce Admin Setup Guide, specifically: 

Complete Step 1 to install the Dropbox for Salesforce app. 

SKIP Step 2. Instead, to enable the integration in Practifi:

  1. Go to Settings (top right menu).
  2. Select Config Settings (represented by  ).
  3. Click the edit icon.
  4. Under the Integrations section, tick the ‘Enable Dropbox’ checkbox.
  5. Click Save.

Follow Step 3 to connect Dropbox to Salesforce. Note: You'll do this from Salesforce Setup -> Dropbox Options.

Follow Step 4 to set up a Salesforce Documents folder. 

Finally, Step 5 takes you through granting access to your user profiles. 

You are now set up with Dropbox, so files and folders should sync between Practifi and Dropbox.
